Joshua Kimmich was not best pleased in the aftermath of Bayern Munich’s defeat to Arsenal, and he has slammed Mikel Arteta’s tactics.
Arsenal inflicted Bayern Munich’s first defeat in the Champions League this season as the Gunners produced a statement win at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Jurrien Timber, Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke secured a 3-1 win for Mikel Arteta’s team to maintain their perfect start to the competition.
After the match, Kimmich appeared to be seething at the scoreline and made a strong claim about Paris Saint-Germain being better than the Gunners.

Joshua Kimmich thinks PSG are better than Arsenal
Joshua Kimmich has claimed that PSG were still a tougher test than Arsenal, despite beating the Parisians and losing to Arteta’s team.
The German midfielder has slammed the way the Gunners played, claiming they are very reliant on set pieces, long balls, and fighting for second balls.
Heading into the clash, Bayern had strong concerns about Arsenal’s ability at set pieces, and this worry came to fruition in N5.
When asked whether Arsenal are the best team Bayern have faced this season, Kimmich replied: “No, I don’t think so, I think PSG were the toughest one.
Is Joshua Kimmich right that PSG are a better team than Arsenal?
“In terms of how they play football, Arsenal are completely different; they rely on set-pieces, they love long balls, they fight for second balls, it’s a completely different game.
“Against PSG, it’s a football game; today wasn’t that much about football. The win was well-deserved, but we need to learn after this game.”
During gameweek four of the competition, Bayern defeated PSG in the French capital, but when they came to the Emirates, it was a very different story.
Arsenal have seriously rattled Bayern Munich
Arsenal appear to have seriously rattled Bayern, and it just proves how hard it can be to come to the Emirates this season.
Previously, the German giants have enjoyed having things their own way in North London, having won four of their previous five clashes with Arsenal heading into Wednesday’s meeting.
Arsenal have rattled Bayern Munich!
But this time around, Kimmich and his team were unable to really lay a glove on the Gunners aside from their first-half goal from Lennart Karl.
Even Vincent Kompany was furious, which is quite a surprise given he is often quite a cool and collected character on the touchline.
