Kai Havertz has had a torrid season with injuries.
The German got hurt in Arsenal’s opening game of the season against Manchester United and didn’t play a single minute in the remainder of the year.
Havertz then suffered a muscular injury in February that kept him out for a few weeks, which further hurt his rhythm.
The Arsenal number 29 is returning to full fitness now, and he finally made his comeback to the Germany squad this week as well.
Havertz received some criticism from the German press, but his country’s manager is convinced that the attacker will be a game-changer once he is fully fit.
He said, as per Buli News: “He played very well, very committed, just lacked a bit of luck. He played very much for the team and created six or seven very dangerous situations.
“If he reaches peak fitness, he’s on the same level for us as Flo (Wirtz), Jamal Musiala, or Serge Gnabry – a game-changer.”

Kai Havertz at his best could help Arsenal make history
Arsenal need everyone in their squad to play at their best level in the final two months of the season.
That applies specifically to their attackers, who have received a lot of criticism – individually and collectively – for some of their performances.
Havertz’s unavailability for most of this season really hurt Arsenal and increased the pressure on Viktor Gyokeres, who had to play almost every game.
Now, Arteta can rotate, and if he gets it right with his two forwards and helps them reach their best level, Arsenal could end the season with their first-ever treble.
