Arsenal star Kai Havertz has now given his verdict on Kylian Mbappe.
Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz has now revealed where he ranks PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe amongst the contemporary greats of world football.
Arsenal have been linked with an ambitious move for Mbappe, whose future at PSG is up in the air.
Of course, it would be a seismic moment in the north London club’s history if the Frenchman were to join Mikel Arteta’s squad at the Emirates Stadium.
The 25-year-old is one the most talented players currently plying his trade in world football. Already in his career, the forward has won one World Cup, and scored a hat-trick in the final of the 2022 iteration of the tournament, as France ultimately lost out to Lionel Messi’s Argentina. In 75 appearances for his country to date, Mbappe has scored 46 goals.
He has been even more prolific at club level. Mbappe has 289 appearances for PSG, across all competitions, under his belt. In that time he has racked up an astonishing 242 goals.
He has won six Ligue 1 titles, across spells with Monaco and PSG, and has also won three French Cups, amongst numerous other honours.

Kai Havertz shares thoughts on Kylian Mbappe
Speaking to Goal on TikTok, Havertz has now shared his thoughts on Mbappe. The German named the mooted Arsenal transfer target as the most skilful player in the world at present, and it is hard to disagree with that assessment.
Ultimately, it is extremely unlikely that Mbappe will end up making a move to Arsenal this summer, but it is not an entirely ludicrous notion. The Gunners have a proud history attracting top French talents, and Arteta has recently made the north London outfit into genuine Premier League title contenders once again. If Mbappe were to decide that he wanted to test himself in the top flight of English football, it is easy to see why joining the young, talented squad that is currently in place at the Emirates Stadium would appeal to him.
It is a tantalising prospect to consider just how devastating an attacking force Arsenal could be with Mbappe on hand to link up with the likes of Havertz, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli, amongst others.
As things stand, though, there is no concrete evidence to suggest that Mbbappe is really considering a move to Arsenal at this stage in his career.
