Kai Havertz is one of Arsenal’s key players nowadays and it’s easy to forget he got his big break with Leverkusen before joining Chelsea.
However, for Havertz himself, he fully recognised the magnitude of his return recently.
“Yeah, I mean it was strange cos I haven’t been there for 6 years. So, I mean I knew this place for a long time,” Havertz revealed.
“I’ve spent 10 years there of my life and you know I always had a top relationship with all the people at the club. So, I was just for me it was just nice to see them obviously play there again, and score a goal. So, I think it was a perfect day for me.”
With the season winding down towards the final months, Havertz’s impact at Arsenal is going to be as important as ever.
After missing such a big chunk of the season earlier on, Havertz has felt like a new signing.
