Arsenal are preparing for next season after missing out on the Premier League title in 2024/25, with new sporting director Andrea Berta now looking to make several additions in the transfer window.
Mikel Arteta’s squad returns to London Colney to commence pre-season preparations in early July, although several Arsenal players are currently on international duty so may return later than others.
With that said, here’s a look at the latest news ahead of another big day.
Bukayo Saka left out of England’s game against Andorra
England took on Andorra on Monday evening and will face Senegal on Tuesday.
Bukayo Saka was named in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for this set of international fixtures, but was left out of the clash against Andorra.
The winger trained just once last week with the Three Lions, and his absence is understood to be precautionary.
He could yet feature against Senegal.

Martin Odegaard shines for Norway against Italy
Martin Odegaard played the full 90 minutes for Norway against Italy on Friday night in Oslo.
The home side eased to a 3-0 victory over the Italians, courtesy of goals from Alexander Sorloth, Erling Haaland and Antonio Nusa.
Odegaard was brilliant throughout, pulling the strings for the Scandinavian side as they dismantled Luciano Spalletti’s team.
The Norwegian media were unsurprisingly full of praise for the Arsenal skipper.

Jakub Kiwior produces indifferent performance for Poland
Jakub Kiwior was also in action for his country, playing the full 90 minutes for Poland as they beat Moldova 2-0.
The Arsenal defender was deployed on the left of a back three for the Poles, and received criticism in Polish media for his display.
The consensus was that Kiwior lacked ambition with his passing and played within himself.
Despite this indifferent outing, Poland eased to victory courtesy of goals from Matty Cash and Bartosz Slisz.
