Tomas Rosicky reveals Arsenal have been in contact over sporting director role
It emerged that Arsenal are hoping to appoint a sporting director by the end of March in preparation for the summer transfer window.
Among five names reportedly being considered are Dan Ashworth and current interim sporting director Jason Ayto.
However, a new name has entered the frame after former Gunners favourite Tomas Rosicky has revealed that the club have also held talks with him over the role.
Rosicky has a lack of experience in the role compared to other names on the shortlist but does have the advantage of representing the club before and a good relationship with supporters.
