Vinai Venkatesham joins Tottenham Hotspur
Former Arsenal chief executive Vinai Venkatesham has rejected proposals from Premier League clubs and clubs from America and Saudi Arabia to join North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Venkatesham initially joined Arsenal as chief commercial officer before taking over from Ivan Gazidis as the club’s chief executive.
Now he has had decided to join Spurs in the next chapter of his career and it is seen as quite a coup for the other side of North London.

Arsenal transfer target Hugo Ekitike copies Thierry Henry
Arsenal have shown interest in Hugo Ekitike and fans will have already taken to the young striker after he emulated Thierry Henry’s famous celebration against Spurs after scoring against them in the Europa League.
Ekitike took his goal superbly with an arrowing strike from outside the area to give current club Eintracht Frankfurt the lead in the quarter final tie before Spurs drew the game 1-1.
The French striker can be bought for £67m this summer and should he make the switch to the Emirates Stadium, he has already warmed the hearts of Arsenal fans with his latest antics.

Mikel Arteta reveals Kai Havertz fitness boost
Speaking at his pre match press conference ahead of Arsenal vs Brentford, Arteta was asked about the chances of seeing Kai Havertz again this season.
Arteta stated: “Let’s see, not every injury is the same, but the mindset of the two is very similar. Great injury history, great work ethic, desperate to get back to playing as quick as possible and great medical staff to look after them.
“So, hopefully we can have him, but let’s wait. Once you get to the last stage of that rehab you can understand how close or far you are to making that next step.”
It would come as a massive boost to the Gunners if Havertz can return ahead of schedule and possibly in time for a Champions League final…
