Arsenal host Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with the clash at the Emirates the penultimate fixture in what has been a frustrating campaign for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The Gunners will be looking to secure their place in the top five with a victory over the Magpies, although they’ll have the opportunity to do so with a win over Southampton the following week as well.

With that said, here’s a look at the latest news ahead of another big day.

Arsenal launch home kit for the 2024/25 season

As is par for the course nowadays, Arsenal launched their new home kit for next season before the end of the current season, and will wear it for their final home game of the campaign against Newcastle on Sunday.

The new strip sees a return to the full crest that had been abandoned on the Gunners’ home shirt this term, while it includes a ‘Gothic A’ pattern across the jersey.

Myles Lewis-Skelly waxed lyrical about the new kit, while fans were unified in their love for it on social media.

Real Madrid set to sign Arsenal transfer target Dean Huijsen

Arsenal will be in the market for a new defender this summer, with the likes of Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney all expected to depart the club.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with Dean Huijsen, although it looks as though they’re about to miss out on the Spaniard.

According to David Ornstein, Real Madrid have activated Huijsen’s £50 million release clause, and he’s now set to join Los Blancos.
