The international break is drawing close to an end, with plenty of Arsenal players featuring for their nations over the past week.

Last night saw all of Declan Rice, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, Jakub Kiwior and Thomas Partey playing and picking up some big results.

With many of the stars starting to make their way back to London Colney, attention will soon turn to Fulham in the Premier League.

Jurrien Timber illness update for Arsenal

Arsenal star Jurrien Timber made an early return to the club during the international break, withdrawing from the Netherlands squad.

The defender picked up an illness and couldn’t feature over their two-legged encounter with Spain in the Nations League.

While Timber is taking some time to recover, journalist Simon Collings suggests that the star will be back in action soon.

Arsenal have one week until they feature in the Premier League again, taking on Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.

Thomas Tuchel aims dig at Mikel Arteta

England head coach Thomas Tuchel seemed to aim a sly dig at Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta over his handling of player’s fitness.

It came before the Three Lions’ match with Latvia in World Cup qualification, with the manager discussing fitness and injuries.

When speaking about Declan Rice, Tuchel told the press: “Given the fact Declan Rice played after a 7-1 first leg the next match with Arsenal, I didn’t have the feeling that they think so much about us.”

It summed up some of the frustration felt by the head coach, who played the Arsenal star twice over the break.

Arsenal told Hugo Ekitike’s asking price

Arsenal have been linked with a possible transfer for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike heading into the summer transfer window.

The forward has impressed with the German outfit, bagging 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season, along with four assists.

While Bild have claimed that Arsenal want the forward, as asking price of €80million (£67million) has been set for a possible switch.
