Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Mark Clattenburg, PSG penalty claim, Liam Delap transfer and Thomas Partey.
Arsenal were back in Champions League action last night as they took on PSG in a huge semi-final clash at the Parc des Princes.
In the end, it wasn’t to be for the Gunners, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat on the night, losing 3-1 on aggregate and exiting the competition.
Elsewhere, plans are stepping up over a busy summer transfer window, with Andrea Berta planning some big moves.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day.
Mark Clattenburg gives PSG penalty verdict after Arsenal defeat
Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has exclusively told Arsenal Insider that he believes a penalty shouldn’t have been awarded for PSG against the Gunners.
The French giants were given a spot kick after a controversial VAR check that saw Myles Lewis-Skelly handle the ball in the box.

Speaking to Arsenal Insider, Clattenburg said on the penalty: “His arm is slightly away from his body, but it is natural for the way he is blocking the ball. I don’t believe a penalty should be awarded.
“However, UEFA have different guidelines on handball to the Premier League and punishes more strictly than what we see each week.”

Andrea Berta wants to seal Liam Delap transfer at Arsenal
Arsenal are getting ready for a big summer, where a transfer for a striker appears to be the top priority for new sporting director Andrea Berta.
The Gunners have been linked with plenty of options, but according to Football Transfers, Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap is a top option.

The forward, who has a £30million relegation release clause, is set to be the centre of a transfer tussle as plenty of teams look at a possible deal.
While Delap is an option, he would be in addition to Viktor Gyokeres, the report claims, with the pair seen as the two the club would like to seal.

Declan Rice names Thomas Partey as Arsenal player to improve him
Arsenal’s midfield has been the core of the success the club has seen in recent seasons, with Declan Rice’s arrival in 2023 only building on that.
While the England international has taken plenty of plaudits for his performances, he believes some of that wouldn’t be possible without Thomas Partey.
He said in a press conference, before taking on PSG: “Total calmness. I think playing with Thomas, I’ve realised, one of the best things about him is, on the pitch, how calm he is with the football and the calmness he brings to the team.
“It’s really special to play with a player like him. Before I came to Arsenal, there was so much talk about Thomas and how good he is.
“Not always he gets the recognition he deserves, but playing with him closely and training with him every day, for sure, he allows me to be a better player because of the way he plays.”
