Mikel Arteta provides Riccardo Calafiori fitness update
Riccardo Calafiori has been out of action since the last international break but could be closing in on a return to the Gunners side.
Speaking at his pre match press conference ahead of Ipswich v Arsenal, Arteta confirmed he should be available for selection against PSG.
Arteta stated: “If everything goes well, I think so, maybe a little bit earlier, he’s on the pitch already, he’s doing quite a lot of stuff. We just need to make the right steps now to make sure that when he’s back, he’s in good shape.”
There was not such good news regarding Jorginho who seems unlikely to make a return for the huge first leg clash.

Arsenal send scouts to watch Hugo Ekitike
Arsenal sent scouts to watch transfer target Hugo Ekitike play against Tottenham on Thursday night, Arsenal Insider understands.
The Frankfurt forward scored in the first leg but was unable to prevent his side from crashing out of the Europa League quarter-final clash as Spurs won 1-0 in Germany.
TBR Football’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey revealed that Arsenal were keeping tabs on Ekitike during the tie.
Bailey stated: “Arsenal, as we have said, are doing work on their striker options and Hugo Ekitike is one who has impressed them recently – so no shock they have taken the chance to watch him against Spurs.”

Ian Wright gives Declan Rice verdict following Real Madrid display
Ian Wright has heaped praise on Declan Rice after claiming the midfielder ‘wiped the floor’ with Real Madrid during the Champions League tie.
Speaking on his Wrighty’s House podcast, he claimed: “Nobody can ever question him! You see all these podcasters being disrespectful, but Declan Rice, over two games, absolutely wiped the floor with that team with his performance.”
Rice scored a brace in the first leg before producing another man of the match display in the second game at the Bernabeu.
