It’s been another busy week for Arsenal that doesn’t look set to slow down, even with players coming to the end of their international duty.

One star who continues with his national team is Ethan Nwaneri, who kickstarts his under-21s Euros campaign with England tonight.

Elsewhere, contract talks are stepping up and transfer discussions are kicking on as the Gunners get down to work before next season.

So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of a busy day of action.

Thomas Partey breaks silence on contract situation

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has spoken out about his contract situation at the club as just weeks remain on his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are locked in talks with the Ghanaian international over his future, which could see him leave at the end of his deal this month.

Speaking to 3Sports Ghana about the situation, Partey claimed: “I’m also an Arsenal fan. I can’t decide anything, it’s up to my agent and the clubs. Me? I just want to enjoy football.”

That certainly hints at a potential stay for the midfielder as the clock ticks down on his contract.

Under-21 Euros opportunity for Arsenal

While there isn’t a senior international tournament this summer, Arsenal scouts will be keeping a close eye on the youth competitions taking place.

One of those is the Under-21 European Championships, which Ethan Nwaneri will be taking part in with England.
