Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Viktor Gyokeres, Tommy Setford and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Arsenal host Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates in what is the North Londoners’ penultimate Premier League game of the season.
The Gunners will be looking to secure Champions League qualification for next season with a victory, while defeat could cost them a place in the top two.
With that said, here’s a look at the latest news ahead of another big day.
Sporting have made a new demand for Arsenal transfer target Viktor Gyokeres
It’s well-documented that Arsenal will be in the market for a striker this summer.
Viktor Gyokeres has emerged as the most likely acquisition in this department, with Andrea Berta understood to be a huge admirer of the Swedish number nine.
The 26-year-old is said to be available for somewhere in the region of £60 million, although it’s now emerged that Sporting are demanding that the vast majority of this potential transfer fee be paid within two years.

This means the Gunners would have to pay two large lump sums, which could potentially present a stumbling block for the deal.

Tommy Setford promoted to Arsenal first team
Arsenal’s academy continues to produce exceptionally talented youngsters, and another has now been officially promoted to the first team.
Tommy Setford is now a permanent fixture in the senior set-up, with Arsenal rewarding the young goalkeeper for his impressive form for the under-21s.
The English shot-stopper could assume the number three position in Arteta’s squad next season.

This could, however, prompt the Gunners to sell promising young keeper Karl Hein, who has spent the season on loan at Spanish side Real Valladolid.

Arsenal may struggle to sell Oleksandr Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko’s future at Arsenal is up in the air.
The Ukrainian has fallen in the pecking order at the Emirates, with Arteta now favouring the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori over him.
As a result, Arsenal would like to sell Zinchenko this summer, although Arsenal Insider has revealed that this may be difficult due to his wage demands.

The 28-year-old is currently earning a purported £150,000 a week, a substantial wage that many of the interested parties may not be able to afford.
