Man City post video mocking Arsenal for not ‘seeing out the win’ vs Wolves after 94th-minute equaliser

Arsenal are being ridiculed by many after their draw against Wolves in the Premier League.

Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie’s goals put the Gunners 2-0 up, and that should’ve been enough to seal the win against the worst side in the league this season.

However, Arsenal conceded twice, the second of which came in the 94th minute of the game. That left Mikel Arteta’s men with no time to respond, and they had to settle for a point as a result.

Now, Manchester City, who benefited most from the leaders dropping points, appear to have poked fun at the North Londoners.

Manchester City mock Arsenal after they dropped points against Wolves

Arsenal had a second half to forget against Wolves on Wednesday night.

The Gunners were nowhere near their best at Molineux, but they still managed to go 2-0 up. That looked like the mark of potential champions.

However, what happened after that seems to have convinced people that Arteta’s side will ‘bottle it’ in the Premier League again.

Two avoidable goals were conceded in the second half, and that blew Arsenal’s lead. Every player was disappointed after the game, and rightly so, as it could have a huge impact on the title race.

Wolves’ Jean-Ricner Bellegarde mocked Arsenal after the draw, as did the Wanderers’ official social media accounts, which was unnecessary.

Now, Manchester City seem to have done the same.

On X, Pep Guardiola’s side posted a video of Erling Haaland wasting time near the corner flag to protect his side’s lead in the final minutes of the game.

“Seeing out the win,” was the caption City chose, and supporters of every club are convinced that it was done to mock Arsenal failing to see out their win at Wolves.

Arsenal fans respond to Manchester City’s post

Arsenal supporters, unsurprisingly, are not happy with Manchester City’s post.

The focus of both sides is on what looks like a very tight title race, so the last thing either team should be doing is aiming subtle digs at each other on social media.

Arsenal fans made their feelings clear by replying to that video.

One said: “Let them try this against Arsenal, and we’ll teach them a lesson.”

Another tweeted: “This is serial mind games. Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, I hope you’re seeing this. Look what you’ve caused.”

“If this doesn’t fire the players up, I don’t know what else will. Go and take the league Arsenal,” wrote another.
