Wolves player Jean-Ricner Bellegarde took a moment to taunt Arsenal fans on social media, just as Amad Diallo did weeks prior.
It’s not been a good start to 2026 for Arsenal, who have dropped 11 Premier League points, which is far from ideal in the title race.
The only loss came against Manchester United at the Emirates, which invited Amad Diallo to mock Arsenal on social media.
After Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Wolves, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde took the same route as Diallo and made his thoughts on the game known on social media.

On X, a Manchester City fan posted a message that read, “Certain man missed taraweeh just to see their team bottle it to 20th place Wolves.”
The tweet was referencing any Arsenal fans who missed the Taraweeh prayer, performed by Muslims every night of Ramadan, which commenced on February 17th.
Bellegarde saw the tweet and reacted to it to laugh at Arsenal, simply replying with three crying face emojis.
The Wolves midfielder deemed it necessary to laugh at Arsenal’s expense, and his own club’s, who were reminded that they sit 20th in the table.
Arsenal aren’t loved in the media, and this was another example of that, with players enjoying the Gunners’ downfall.
First, it was Diallo, now it’s Bellegarde, giving Arteta an incentive to crack down on his team’s performances to limit the chances of his players being ridiculed online.

In 2021, after Brentford beat Arsenal, Ivan Toney famously tweeted, “Nice kick about with the boys.”
Toney’s tweet made it into Arteta’s team talks, as when speaking on Amazon Prime’s All or Nothing Arsenal documentary, the boss was animated.
“Before I go, because it’s still in my stomach and I have managed to keep it for four months, five months, six months, this is Toney after the game when we played at Brentford.
“You know what he did? You know his tweet? Nice kick about with the boys this afternoon.”
