Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has now named one the greatest attributes of Mikel Arteta’s squad as he reveals title plan.
Martin Odegaard will be determined to lead Arsenal one step further this season than they managed to reach last time around, and actually land a piece of silverware.
Last season, Mikel Arteta’s side finished as runners up to Manchester City in the Premier League title race.
Arteta has since promised Arsenal fans that silverware is on the way, and now the time for the Gunners to deliver on that vow is here.
If the North London club are to land a major trophy in the upcoming campaign, then they will need Odegaard, and the rest of their key players, to be fit and firing on all cylinders throughout the season.
The Norwegian playmaker and a number of his teammates are currently in Marbella with Arteta and his coaching staff, seeking to gain a head-start on their rivals. Odegaard recently shared an update on the progress being made at the Arsenal training camp in the coastal Spanish city.
The 25-year-old has now also given his verdict on the shape that the squad is in ahead of the challenge facing them.

The disappointment of coming so close, but ultimately leaving with nothing, last season could easily have rocked the squad. That is now two seasons in a row where Arsenal have been second-best in England, with no silverware to show for their admirable efforts.
How the Gunners respond to this blow will be a mark of their strength and collective character. Odegaard is convinced, though, that the team won’t face any problems in this regard.
Speaking to CBS Sports Golazo, the former Real Madrid man claimed: “I think that’s [unity and togetherness] one of our biggest strengths in the team. We are so connected, we are so together, working in the same direction.
“I think that’s the key thing for us, to just keep doing a lot of the same things and then, obviously, we want to improve to make sure we win some titles as well, but as you said, we had a great season, we made some history, and yeah, it’s small margins. Small details.
“We can do better and push each other to win some trophies as well, that’s the big goal, so that’s what we are working for now.”
In order to ensure that his side make yet more progress this season, and take another step forward, Arteta will be seeking to strengthen his squad in this summer transfer window. Arsenal have been linked with a host of potential signings.
