Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game for Mikel Arteta’s team; however, VAR saved their blushes by disallowing Callum Wilson’s 95th-minute equaliser.

Arsenal are now just two wins away from securing their first league title in 22 years, but the Arsenal captain insists their focus remains firmly on beating Burnley.

Martin Odegaard says Arsenal are only focused on their next match

Martin Odegaard claims that Arsenal are only focused on their next match rather than already thinking about the Premier League title.

Only Burnley and Crystal Palace now stand in the Gunners’ way of clinching the Premier League trophy.

When asked whether the Premier League title feels almost close enough to reach now, Odegaard told Sky Sports: “Yeah, obviously, we know it’s only two games left.

“So, definitely close, but I think as we’ve said the whole season and as we’ve done the whole season.

“It’s key now even more, I think, to stay in the moment and just prepare for the next game, get ready for that win and and and move on, you know.

“So yeah, I think it’s key to stay calm and just prepare for the next one. Now that’s all we can do.”

Odegaard was brilliant against West Ham and provided the assist for Leandro Trossard’s winning goal.

The Arsenal captain has now given Arteta the dilemma of whether to bring him back into the team or stick with Eberechi Eze for the final three games.
