The 16-year-old is now one of the hottest names in world football, and he has been receiving a great deal of media attention at the Emirates Stadium.

Following his first goal for the Gunners, Dowman has been picking his world five-a-side team and selected several of his Arsenal teammates.

Max Dowman has picked Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka over both Kevin De Bruyne and Jude Bellingham in his dream five-a-side team.

Rising Ballers asked Dowman to select his best five-a-side team from world football, and Saka was one of four Arsenal teammates.

As his defender, the teenager selected Ben White over Manchester City’s Rico Lewis and even Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi.

His next pick was a big surprise as he took Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard ahead of Manchester City duo Rodri and Bernardo Silva.

As his second midfielder, it was no real shock to see him select his mentor and fellow teammate Declan Rice ahead of Phil Foden and Mohamed Salah.

How closely do you think Max Dowman will follow in Lamine Yamal’s footsteps?

In the final attacking slot, Saka was the player he picked ahead of both De Bruyne and Bellingham, which isn’t too much of a surprise, given the form of all three players this season.

Finally, Lionel Messi was his pick for the striker slot, naming him as “The GOAT” over Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Right now, the Gunners are almost certainly the best team in world football, so it should be no real shock that most of their players get into a best world line-up.
