Richards grew up an Arsenal fan, but, interestingly, he says the one result he would change from history was the 2021 Champions League final involving his former club, Man City.
Interestingly, it’s a current Arsenal player who scored the winning goal that day, as Richards noted that Kai Havertz genuinely broke his heart with his winning goal in that match.

Richards spoke about the one game in football history he wants to change.
The pundit admitted he’d love to go back in time to switch the outcome of the 2021 Champions League final.
Bernardo Silva recently said similar about that final, claiming that Kai Havertz caused the worst moment of his career.
Of course, Havertz is now an Arsenal player, and he’ll be hoping to pile more misery on Man City in the near future by helping Arsenal win the title race.
“I’m going to go Man City vs Chelsea, the Champions League final in 2021, Havertz broke my heart, disaster, we got one back though against Milan a couple of years later.”

Kai Havertz is the only player in the Arsenal squad who can boast a Champions League final winning goal in his career.
The German has done it on the very biggest stage in football, and he will surely be looking to repeat the trick again this season for Arsenal.

Of course, we haven’t seen much of Havertz yet owing to injury, but the attacker is now back in training, and he could return to first-team action very soon.
