Arsenal have struggled with a number of injury issues this season, and another key player is now set for a spell on the sidelines.
Defender Ben White has missed some recent matches, with it clear that he was struggling with an ongoing issue, but he played through the pain as Arsenal were left with little alternatives.
White has a superb injury record for Arsenal, but it was clear in recent performances that he was struggling, with Ian Wright highlighting his slow reaction to Chelsea’s equalising goal in the last game.
Arsenal will now be without White for some time, as they have taken steps to address his ongoing problems.

Ben White set for Arsenal injury absence after minor procedure
It has now been reported that White has undergone minor surgery to correct an issue that has plagued him for weeks, and this means he will be sidelined for Arsenal’s upcoming matches.
“Ben White had a minor ‘procedure’ following the 1-1 draw at Chelsea. Not expected to be a serious lay off and, as expected, he is prepared to play through the pain barrier as soon as he can,” journalist Jordan Davies posted on X.
White was on the bench for Arsenal’s defeat to Newcastle as a result of this ongoing issue, and Mikel Arteta will have to think about how to replace him.
How many Arsenal games Ben White could miss
Despite rumours that White could be set for a lengthy absence, it appears that it was a minor procedure, and the 27-year-old will return soon.

Arsenal have a hectic run of fixtures leading into December, and it is hoped that White will return before too long, after he potentially misses the clash with Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium.
White has played through his injury whilst Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jurrien Timber and William Saliba were absent, and it is now time for those other players to step up to replace him.
