Arsenal are looking to go big this summer and make some impactful signings and it seems Mikel Arteta has his eyes firmly set on one European star.
The Gunners are looking to tweak their squad and with both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli likely to leave, a new left-sided player is a priority.
Arsenal are pushing on with a deal to sign Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge but it doesn’t look like they’re stopping there.
Indeed, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, it is a member of Turkey’s World Cup squad who is the top target.

Mikel Arteta considers Kenan Yildiz his ‘dream’ signing
Arsenal are being linked with a host of players this summer and seems inevitable that they’ll do big business at some point.
The signing of Tzolis feels like just the start before they go big with some others.
Now, according to Tavolieri, it is Turkey’s Kenan Yildiz who is the main name on Mikel Arteta’s list of potential signings.
It’s claimed Arsenal would be ready to spend around £86m on bringing Yildiz to the club after watching him star for Juventus in the last few years.
Yildiz scored ten goals for the Turin giants last season and goes into the World Cup with Turkey as the main man.

Arsenal, it seems, want to get a deal tied up before Yildiz goes on and impresses across the pond and his value potentially goes even higher.
Of course, the Gunners will also be keen to ensure they don’t spend big and then see Yildiz get injured.
Nevertheless, this feels like an exciting signing for the club and one which will certainly generate interest from fans.
