Bukayo Saka was on target for Arsenal as they beat West Ham United at the Emirates.

The Gunners had an easy afternoon in the Premier League. They weren’t threatened by the Irons at any point and totally dominated the game.

Declan Rice, who was playing against his former club, opened the scoring with a good finish, but Arsenal struggled to convert their dominance into goals from open play.

Jurrien Timber then won a penalty in the second half, and Saka made no mistake from the spot to seal the win.

Mikel Arteta hails ‘unbelievable’ Bukayo Saka stat after Arsenal beat West Ham

Bukayo Saka is one of Arsenal’s best players.

The England international has had injury issues that have hurt him this year, but almost every time he is on the pitch, he makes something happen.

On Saturday, Saka made his 200th appearance for Arsenal, which is a phenomenal achievement at just 24 years of age.

To make his milestone day even more memorable, he scored in the second half to take his goal contributions tally to 100 in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta was blown away by that statistic and heaped praise on Saka in his post-match press conference.

He said, as relayed on HayterstTV: “When you look at those numbers, 200 games, 100 goal involvements, it’s unbelievable.

“His age, what he’s doing, the manner that he’s doing it as well, really impressive. That’s the kind of players that we need to achieve what we want.”

Bukayo Saka proves he is world-class after his latest Arsenal achievement

The debate over whether Saka is world-class has been around for a long time.

Arsenal fans have been adamant that their Starboy is right up there, but many others have refused to include the England attacker in that bracket.

However, after directly contributing to his 100th Premier League goal, there is no debate anymore – Saka is a world-class footballer.

Saka became the seventh youngest player in Premier League history to reach 100 goal involvements, and every single player above him has gone on to achieve great things.

Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Robbie Fowler, Cesc Fabregas, and Cristiano Ronaldo are all icons of the Premier League, while Romelu Lukaku was unbelievable in his prime as well.

The fact that Saka is among them on that list shows that he is destined for greatness as well in the coming years.
