Arsenal were defeated 2-1 in Paris on the night to fall short of their Champions League dream.
Mikel Arteta’s side produced an excellent performance on the night but Bukayo Saka’s goal was not enough as they went out 3-1 on aggregate.
Fans were disappointed with Myles Lewis-Skelly’s performance as the Hale End youngster struggled in the heated atmosphere in France.
Martin Odegaard also frustrated Arsenal fans with his lack of cutting edge in the final third but in truth, Arsenal were very close to getting over the line and one man thwarted their efforts.

Mikel Arteta highlights Gianluigi Donnarumma as the difference in the tie
Speaking to TNT Sports post match coverage of Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to PSG, Arteta highlighted the impact that PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had on the tie.
Donnarumma made three outstanding saves from Gabriel Martinelli and Odegaard in the early exchanges and from Saka in the second half – he was also magnificent in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta stated: “This competition is about the boxes and there is normally the strikers and the goalkeeper and he [Donnarumma] was the best player over both games.”
The Gunners boss was also defiant in his team’s efforts and even stated that he didn’t believe there was a better team in the Champions League than his Arsenal side this season.
Arteta explained: “”100%, I don’t think there’s been a better team in the competition so far, from what I’ve seen. But we are out tonight…”
