Arsenal remain unbeaten in the 2024/25 calendar, winning six and drawing three in all competitions.
Mikel Arteta will be encouraged by his squad’s start to the season, having navigated through several difficult tests without losing.
Most recently, the Gunners put on a masterclass at the Emirates to beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in the Champions League, sending a message to those in the tournament.
Sitting one point off the top of the Premier League table with away trips to Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester City out of the way, things are looking good for Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta praised for Arsenal’s adaptability
There have been plenty of positives from Arsenal’s start to the season, with each game seeming to bring a different side out of the squad.
The Gunners have an incredibly adaptable edge to them under Arteta, who provides a game plan for every occasion.
Such strength has been noted by journalist Julien Laurens, who sung the manager’s praises on talkSPORT’s Inside Gooners podcast.
“If you look at PSG, they have one way of playing, Spurs have one way of playing, Man United have no way of playing,” Laurens explained in reaction to Arsenal’s win over PSG.
The French journalist then went on to form a comparison between the Gunners and title rivals Man City, pinpointing why adaptability brings Arsenal ‘closest’ to Pep Guardiola’s side.
“Even Slot and Liverpool have one way of playing, we haven’t seen anything else.
“City have different ways, that’s why Arsenal are the closest to City. I think having plan A, B and C right now is very important if you want to compete in the Premier League and Champions League.”
Laurens and the panel were impressed by how the hosts conducted themselves at the Emirates against the Parisians, with an attacking and defensive prowess that PSG could not compete with.
Arsenal are evolving
It wasn’t long ago that Arsenal seemed almost aimless in big games, with an example of such evident even last season.
The Gunners impressed for the most part of the campaign, but when placed with a job to do at the Allianz Arena in the second leg against Bayern Munch, the squad looked lost and were subsequently unable to complete the task.
This term looks different already, with Arteta demonstrating the many styles his players are capable of unleashing, with no task out of reach, yet.
As Laurens stated, Arsenal have more than one plan of action depending on the opposition and the occasion, with a level of fluidity that will make them very hard to overcome this term.
