Arsenal host Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and Mikel Arteta has issued an injury update ahead of the clash.
The Gunners will be looking to continue their encouraging start to the new season when they take on Pep Guardiola’s side.
Arteta’s team beat Athletic Club 2-0 in the Champions League in midweek, meaning they’ve won four of their opening five matches across all competitions this term.
They face a City side who will be buoyed by positive results this week against Manchester United and Napoli.

Mikel Arteta provides Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Ben White injury updates
Bukayo Saka sustained a hamstring injury against Leeds in August and has been missing since.
The initial diagnosis was that the winger would be out for three to four weeks, and with this timeline now at its end, fans are curious as to when the player will make his return.
Martin Odegaard fell on his shoulder against Nottingham Forest last weekend, aggravating an injury he sustained against Leeds.
The Norwegian subsequently missed the Champions League clash in Bilbao on Tuesday, with many now speculating about when the Arsenal captain could return.
Meanwhile, Ben White has been absent since the Gunners’ opening game of the season away at Manchester United, struggling with a knee issue.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Arteta provided some clarity around Saka, Odegaard and White’s fitness situations and revealed the players’ chances of featuring against City.
“If there is a chance, it will be after tomorrow’s session as they haven’t done anything yet,” Arteta said.
Essentially, all three face late fitness tests to determine their availability.

Mikel Arteta says William Saliba is really ‘pushing’ to be involved against Man City
William Saliba has just returned to fitness following an ankle injury.
The Frenchman missed Arsenal’s game against Nottingham Forest but was on the bench against Athletic Club in midweek.
While the defender has been back in training for a full week, Arteta couldn’t confirm whether or not the player would be back and involved against City.
“Let’s see, he has been carrying an injury,” the manager said.
“He’s really pushing it, so we will decide tomorrow.”
