Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has returned from his injury.
The England international suffered a hamstring issue in the game against Leeds United and was sidelined for a few weeks as a result.
Saka made his comeback against Manchester City, replacing the injured Noni Madueke at half-time and playing the entire second half.
The Arsenal number seven looked good, and he now wants more.
Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka is demanding more minutes at Arsenal
Bukayo Saka is one of Arsenal’s most important players.
The Englishman carried the Gunners on his back during Mikel Arteta’s early years, and he is among the biggest reasons why they are title contenders now.
Saka had a difficult time in the second half of last season. A serious hamstring injury kept him out of action for three months, but he managed to return and looked fit.
In the second game this season, he suffered another hamstring problem, and that sidelined him again.
Arteta wants to take things slow with Saka’s return, but the Arsenal number seven is not having it – he is already demanding more minutes ahead of the game against Port Vale.
Arteta said, as per Arsenal.com: “He needs minutes and he’s demanding that as well. Obviously, when he’s been out for a while, you just need to get in the rhythm, you need to get that confidence on the pitch and repeat actions and exposure.
“We will do that, gradually, because he’s been out for a while. But I like what I saw the other day when he came on.”

Bukayo Saka’s return is good news for one Arsenal player
Saka’s return is a massive boost for Arsenal because he is their most important player in attack.
The 24-year-old has scored a lot of goals for the Gunners over the years, and he constantly creates chances too. Saka was actually on track to break Thierry Henry’s assists record last season, but his injury ruined his chance.
The Arsenal star is keen to get more minutes under his belt now, and once he is fully fit, we think he will help Viktor Gyokeres explode.
The Swede has had a decent start to life in the famous red and white, but he hasn’t had the kind of service that he would like.
Saka will change that, and we can’t wait to see the two of them combine in the coming weeks.
