Eberechi Eze has had a difficult time at Arsenal recently.
The England international was the Gunners’ most-expensive signing in the summer transfer window, and fans were over the moon when he arrived.
Eze showed off his magic early on and even scored a stunning hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur in his first-ever North London Derby.
However, Eze hasn’t played a minute of football in Arsenal’s last three games in the Premier League, which is very surprising.
Fill in the blank: Right now, I feel ____________ about Eberechi Eze’s lack of game time at Arsenal…
Mikel Arteta responds to question about Eberechi Eze not playing for Arsenal recently
Eberechi Eze has the ability to win games on his own for Arsenal.
The former Crystal Palace man showed that against Spurs, and he scored the winner against his former club at the Emirates as well.
After that, Eze would’ve considered himself a regular starter, but the Arsenal number 10 hasn’t had a chance in the league in recent weeks.
In his press conference on Friday ahead of the game against Bournemouth, Arteta was asked about the Englishman’s lack of game time.
The Arsenal manager claimed that Eze has played more than ever before already this season.
He said, as relayed on HaytersTV: “Ebs has played more games, more minutes than ever at this time. He has played 22 out of 28 games or something like this.
“He never played that much football. So, we’re on a good track.”

Mikel Arteta tells Eberechi Eze to improve
Eze’s season has been a mixed one.
From the highest of the highs against Tottenham to making a mistake against Aston Villa that led to Arteta taking him off at half-time, he has had a rollercoaster of a campaign.
Arteta is clearly not worried about Eze’s lack of game time, but he has subtly urged the England international to improve.
Was Eberechi Eze at fault for Aston Villa’s opening goal or was it David Raya’s mistake?
Villa take the lead😓
He said: “With Ebs, in the first few months, we had some great moments. We had some other moments where there were things that we need to improve. We are on that journey.”
Arsenal take on Bournemouth next before Liverpool come to the Emirates. It will be interesting to see if Eze will get any minutes in those fixtures.
