Eberechi Eze has had a mixed time since joining Arsenal in the summer.
The England international, on his day, is one of the best players in the Premier League, and he has shown his class in the famous red and white already.
Eze’s stunning hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur in his first-ever North London Derby has been the highlight of his Arsenal career so far.
However, things haven’t gone to plan for the attacker recently.

Eberechi Eze could be an unused substitute for the fourth Arsenal game in a row
Eberechi Eze has been a star at club level for many years now.
The 27-year-old was a key player for Crystal Palace during his time there, and he was among the first names on the team sheet every week after he established himself.
There were always question marks about his role as a regular starter after he joined Arsenal because of the presence of Martin Odegaard, and Eze is finding that out now.
The Englishman has been an unused substitute in each of Arsenal’s last three Premier League games.

If Mikel Arteta leaves him on the bench and decides not to use him against Bournemouth on Saturday, it would be four league games as an unused substitute, which hasn’t happened in years.
The last time Eze sat on the bench and played zero minutes in four consecutive games was all the way back in March 2022. He had to watch on from the sidelines for six games back then.
If the same repeats on Saturday, it would be the first time in 1391 days, which is unbelievable.

Why Eberechi Eze is in a helpless situation at Arsenal
After scoring three against Tottenham, Eze would’ve thought that the number 10 role was his, but he hasn’t been great recently.
The former Eagles star has failed to affect games much, and that has coincided with Odegaard returning and playing at his best.
Arteta cannot replace the Norwegian based on current form, and to make things worse for Eze, Leandro Trossard is playing out of his skin on the left wing as well.
Eze can’t do much except work hard in training and wait for his opportunity. We think that may not come until the FA Cup clash against Portsmouth later this month.
