Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.
Having struggled for form prior to the international break, the Gunners looked re-energised in their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Bukayo Saka put the hosts ahead in the first half, before Thomas Partey’s spectacular strike doubled the north London club’s advantage. Ethan Nwaneri then delighted Arsenal fans as he scored his first ever Premier League goal.
Arsenal need to kick on from here and put a run together to get themselves back into Premier League title contention.

Mikel Arteta reveals Arsenal change
Arsenal very much needed this win, and the break afforded by the recent rounds of international fixtures likely came at a good time for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta’s side needed time to rest and reset. The likes of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard needed to regain their fitness, too.
Arteta is convinced that this break has served his side well. As he explained after the win over Nottingham Forest, as quoted by the official Arsenal website: “I sensed a different energy 48 hours before the match. Straight away there was something that you mentioned, something else that was different.
“What happened was that instead of 12 or 13 players, we trained with 19 for the first time in six weeks, suddenly you are like, wow, the competitiveness, the level, the quality, the understanding, the competition, everything raises and that’s what we need, every single day.
“Train at that level and that’s down to the availability of a lot of players, they have not been able to do that and when that happens, the level will raise for sure.”
Are Arsenal back in the Premier League title race?
The Gunners are still trailing Premier League leaders Liverpool by a significant margin. However, Manchester City’s thrashing at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur has allowed Arsenal to close the gap on the reigning champions.
This will give Arteta’s side a major boost.

Prior to the international break, Arsenal were challenged to win seven Premier League games in a row in order to get themselves back into title contention.
They have made a strong start in this regard, and the mood at the Emirates Stadium has certainly been lifted. Arsenal must maintain this momentum into their next Premier League fixture, against West Ham United on Saturday.
