Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has previewed the Gunners’ upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The North Londoners will be eager to continue their encouraging run of form as the Red Devils pay a visit to N5.
Arsenal thrashed West Ham 5-2 last time out, sending a statement to the league to not call off the title race just yet.
Now, another challenge awaits the Gunners as Ruben Amorim prepares to face Arsenal for the first time as Man United boss.

Mikel Arteta sends Ruben Amorim message ahead of Man United clash
Amorim is fond of Arteta as the two managers met in 2023 during the Europa League Round of 16.
That occasion didn’t go as planned for Arsenal, who crashed out of the tournament as Sporting CP advanced after winning over two legs.
As expected, Arteta was quizzed on the unfortunate night in North London in 2023 in the press conference ahead of Wednesday night’s clash.
The Arsenal manager was asked if he’s seeking revenge on Amorim, who will be eager to make a strong impression at United.
“Not revenge, football is about another opportunity,” Arteta said.
“It’s another game it’s going to be very different to the past, we played against Sporting a few weeks ago and it was very different to before, it has no meaning.”
Arteta referenced Arsenal’s 5-1 win over Sporting last time out in the Champions League, thrashing Amorim’s former side to right their wrongs against the Lisbon outfit.
Sporting misjudged Arsenal by comparing the Gunners to their 2023 meeting, which is something Arteta will hope can derail Amorim’s dreams of three points.

Man United’s record at the Emirates
If Arsenal are at their best, there’s no reason why three points can’t be held in North London after 90 minutes.
That being said, United are high on confidence after Amorim’s arrival however, the Portuguese coach faces an uphill battle in only his third Premier League game.
Man United have only won at the Emirates once in the Premier League in the past nine years, with Jose Mourinho being the last manager to lead the Red Devils to a win in Islington.
The record only emphasises the challenge that awaits Amorim and most importantly, the opportunity that is there for Arsenal to keep their winning streak running.
