Arsenal fans always remember players that gave everything for the shirt.

Arsenal legends such as Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp are held in the highest esteem when it comes to supporters given everything they achieved in North London.

It isn’t just success and winning trophies that secures the adulation of the Gunners faithful, players such as Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere are also adored for their heart and commitment shown to the club.

Another player that didn’t necessarily win Premier League titles or have major trophy success was Mohamed Elneny but fans have shown their love for the former midfielder after unveiling a new piece of artwork at the Emirates Stadium.

Mohamed Elneny sends heartfelt message to Arsenal fans

Elneny became a fan favourite during his time at Arsenal and supporters have unveiled a stunning piece of artwork near the stadium to embed the Egyptian within folklore.

The former Gunners midfielder visited the location of the artwork and has sent a message to supporters via his Instagram account.

Elneny stated: “Finding myself here, right next to the legends, is a pleasure I can’t describe. I’m very grateful for you, Arsenal fans. I love you all and you will always be in my heart.”

It isn’t the first time fans have used the surrounding walls of the stadium to voice their opinions over the club.

Back in January, Josh Kroenke was sent a transfer message after a display read: ‘Time to splash some cash Josh.’

Mohamed Elneny’s Arsenal career

Elneny was spotted with the Arsenal squad this season during their mid-season break to Dubai, where unfortunately Kai Havertz’s injury blow overshadowed the camp.

With just the FA Cup in 2017 to his name, Elneny was not the most coveted player to wear the red and white shirt but never let the club down during his eight-year spell.
