One of Arsenal’s top transfer targets this summer is Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.

The Gunners’ main focus in the upcoming window will be on their attack, and they have been linked with several top players.

Rogers may well be the most exciting of them all because of skills, shooting, versatility and power, but he happens to be a big fan of another Arsenal target: Marcus Rashford.

Morgan Rogers says he dreams of being as good as Arsenal-linked Marcus Rashford

Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Morgan Rogers, again.

The Manchester United attacker seemed destined to join Barcelona on a permanent deal after spending last season on loan.

However, the Catalans let their £26 million option-to-buy clause expire and signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United instead.

Arsenal’s priority target is Rogers, but they have also been offered a chance to sign Rashford from Manchester United.

Whether the Gunners will show any interest remains to be seen, but Rogers is certainly a big fan of his England teammate.

In a video on Pro Direct Soccer, Rogers was asked to name the most skilful player in England and was told to back himself.

He replied: “Nah, nah, no way. It’s Rashy (Rashford), by far.

“Some of the things he can do with a football are ridiculous. I dream of being able to do what he does. So good!”

What’s the first thing you would say if Arsenal and Manchester United swapped Gabriel Martinelli and Marcus Rashford?

Morgan Rogers and Marcus Rashford in, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli out?

Arsenal are definitely going to sign one left-winger this summer, but they may need two.

Both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli have been linked with moves away from the club, and there is a decent chance that both could be sold.

Rogers is being viewed as one option on the left flank, and if Arsenal can’t get someone younger like Christos Tzolis, they could well consider Rashford.

However, that should only be the case if his transfer fee is reasonable and his wages are significantly lower than what he is currently earning at United.
