Injuries are hurting Arsenal badly at a crucial stage of the season.

Mikel Arteta has not had a fully fit squad available for a single game all campaign, and things have become even more difficult in recent weeks.

Mikel Merino, Jurrien Timber, Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie are all dealing with issues and missed the game against Sporting CP.

However, the biggest miss may well be Eberechi Eze, who was just starting to find his rhythm before getting injured against Bayer Leverkusen.

Early reports suggested Eze could be out for six weeks. Now, there is hope he could return much sooner than expected.

Answer honestly, can Arsenal win the Premier League without Eberechi Eze?

Eberechi Eze could return for Arsenal vs Sporting CP second leg

Eze is a key player for Arsenal and is someone who can change games on his own.

The former Crystal Palace star has a history of performing strongly in the final part of the season, which is exactly what Arsenal need right now.

Initially, there was hope at Arsenal that Eze could return in time to face Manchester City in the Premier League at the Etihad.

However, a new update from The Independent suggests he could be back even earlier.

The report claims that Eze could return for Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final second leg clash against Sporting CP at the Emirates.

The Gunners managed to win the first leg 1-0 thanks to a late Kai Havertz goal, and they will be the favourites to finish the job next Wednesday as well.

Having Eze back for that game would be a massive boost for Arsenal, who must treat every game as a cup final from now on.

Early Eberechi Eze return could change Arsenal’s season

Arsenal’s upcoming game against Manchester City is being viewed by many as the Premier League title decider this season.

If the Gunners win that match, they will almost certainly go on and win the title.

With Odegaard struggling with form and fitness, Arteta needs another player who can produce moments of magic, and there’s nobody better than Eze.

Arsenal crashed out of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup without the Englishman, and it was clear to see that the Gunners needed him in those games.

When Eze is back in the side, everything could change, and Arsenal could still win both the Premier League and the Champions League.

That would be magnificent.
