Noni Madueke and Bukayo Saka both model their games on Cristiano Ronaldo

With Madueke’s pending arrival at the Gunners, all eyes are now on how Mikel Arteta uses the England duo in his side.

Both players have similar abilities and have spoken of their admiration of Cristiano Ronaldo, Saka and Madueke model their games on the footballing icon.

Speaking to ESPN, Madueke claimed that he loved the ‘decisiveness’ of Ronaldo and his ability ‘to win games on his own’ and that is what he wants to bring to his own game.

Speaking to AllFootballOfficial back in 2019, Saka was of the same opinion about the former Real Madrid star.

Saka stated: “Cristiano Ronaldo. I love his mentality. He always wants to be the best, is always working hard on and off the pitch and trying to make his body the best.

“When he gets on the pitch he performs with full confidence and full personality and shows why he’s one of the best players to ever play football.

“I wouldn’t say I have his attitude as we are two different players, he is unique, but I try to look at him and take the good things from his game and one of the good things from his game is his mentality. He’s always focused, always working and I try to do that as well.”

Noni Madueke can help Bukayo Saka elevate his game further at Arsenal

Partnerships are key in football and despite many believing that Madueke is arriving to provide competition for Saka, they may not necessarily be Arteta’s plan.

Madueke enjoyed great success at Chelsea last season playing on the left flank and his versatility would have been one of the attractions to Arsenal.

Saka has never experienced competition at Arsenal but knowing that he now has a very capable talent waiting in the wings behind him, his game may be about to lift off even further.

The Hale End star has proven throughout his career that he thrives in pressure situations and some competition for his place could be about to spark his best form yet for the Gunners.
