Ousmane Dembele has been told his injury is fine

Ousmane Dembele has been informed by his doctor that his calf injury is nothing serious and he will be available for the Champions League final.

PSG revealed that Dembele’s injury will be closely monitored over the coming days, but it appears as though he will be fit to play against the Gunners.

Speaking to M6, Dembele said: “I’m fine, much better. I had a minor scare, but there’s nothing to worry about, the doctor told me.

“It’s my calf. I had a little pain, and I would have preferred not to take any risks. Yes, I’ll be there on the 30th, don’t worry. Yes, yes, I’ll be there, I’ll be there.”

The Ballon d’Or winner missed PSG training on Wednesday afternoon, so it could be interesting to see what condition he arrives in for the final.

Arsenal faced Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals, with Julian Alvarez also struggling with an injury, and that hugely benefited the Gunners’ defence.

Now, they could be about to face a PSG side with Dembele not in full condition for the final on May 30.

Achraf Hakimi was also missing from training on Wednesday, but he is also expected to be ready for the final.
