A couple of bad results for The Arsenal and it feels like everyone is out there looking to dig out the team and certain individuals.
The Gunners’ last few Premier League results have been disappointing and a 3-2 defeat to Manchester United this weekend has only opened them up to more criticism.
With Arsene Wenger among those to call Arsenal out and the likes of Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira and Jamie Carragher all asking questions, it does feel like pressure is building on this Arsenal side.
Do Arsenal lack mental strength and if so, how does Mikel Arteta fix it?
One of the big problems with the Gunners is their lack of goals, or more specifically, an individual like Erling Haaland
Indeed, speaking about Arsenal’s current squad, Paul Scholes has claimed there’s only one individual who is playing to a top level.
Paul Scholes names the only Arsenal player he thinks is top level
With United getting the win and so many former United players in the punditry game, Arsenal have left themselves wide open to comments here.
However, Paul Scholes has risked upsetting the masses by suggesting that as it stands, this Arsenal side could be the worst to even win.
“If Arsenal win the league this could be the worst team to win the league,” Scholes commented.
“If you’re thinking of picking a team of the season and picking the front four, nobody from the Arsenal team gets in that.”Look at previous champions, Liverpool’s forwards, brilliant.”

Adding further comment on which player he feels is actually performing, Scholes suggested only Bukayo Saka can make an argument.
“Possibly the only one Saka, and I don’t think he’s been brilliant, not scored many goals this year or assists.”The rest of them…”
Arsenal won’t care what type of team they are as long as they win
This seems a touch harsh from Scholes in all fairness. There is more than one way to win a title and we’ve seen teams over the years do it different ways.
Man City have played free-flowing football but on the flipside, we’ve seen Jose Mourinho win with Chelsea built firmly on defensive solidarity.
Fill in the blank: Right now, I see __________ as the strongest leader in this Arsenal squad…
Ultimately, it is about getting over the line whichever way you can.
As for the comment on Saka, Scholes might have a point. Right now it might ring true but he’s failed to mention both Gabriel and Saliba, who have been exceptional all season.
