Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has delivered his verdict on Arsenal ahead of the game at the Emirates.
The Sky Blues have had a tough time against the Gunners. They haven’t been able to win a single game in the last five meetings in all competitions.
That would be an amazing achievement, and the Manchester City boss is well aware of the Gunners’ strengths.

Pep Guardiola says Arsenal don’t make mistakes at the back anymore
Arsenal’s defence let Mikel Arteta down on several occasions during his early years at the club.
The likes of Shkodran Mustafi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Rob Holding made plenty of mistakes, and that cost the Gunners.
Arteta paired Gabriel Magalhaes with William Saliba in the heart of Arsenal’s defence in the 2022/23 season, and they have been incredible since.
The North Londoners have the best defence in Europe right now, and Pep Guardiola has claimed that Arsenal don’t even make mistakes at the back anymore.
He said in his press conference, as relayed on HaytersTV: “Hopefully, this season, we can make more of a challenge than last year because Mikel is an extraordinary manager.
“They increased the squad in four or five transfer windows, it is an unbelievable squad and an unbelievable team. It is one of the toughest opponents you can find right now in Europe.
“For me, it is the most solid team. They don’t make mistakes in the back. It’s an incredibly solid team. They have pace up front. They have set pieces with Nico Jover, who was here.
“So, in every department, what a team! We know it.”

Arsenal’s defensive stats are incredible
Arsenal have had the best defence in the Premier League in each of the last two seasons, and they are on track to make it three in three.
Arteta’s men have conceded just one goal in their first five games in all competitions – that was a stunner from Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield.
The xG Philosophy have revealed that Arsenal haven’t conceded a chance greater than 0.12 (xG) in their last four games, which is absolutely incredible.
Guardiola is right, Arsenal don’t make mistakes at the back like they used to.
If the Gunners can maintain their good defensive form in the game against Manchester City on Sunday, their chances of victory will increase significantly.
Chris Sutton believes Arsenal will win the game for that reason.
