Granit Xhaka has now promised that he will be back at Arsenal next week to bid farewell to fans, staff and his former teammates.
The Swiss international spent seven years as a Gunner at the Emirates. He left us to join Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, but he is all set to come back to Arsenal next week to say goodbye to everyone.

Granit Xhaka will be back at Arsenal next week to say goodbye
Granit Xhaka is an inspiration to many Arsenal fans.
The Swiss international was at the lowest point of his career following his outburst against home fans at the game against Crystal Palace back in 2019.
Everyone felt his Arsenal career was over at that point, but Mikel Arteta convinced him to stay, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Xhaka left Arsenal in the summer with a lot of love from Gooners – he even admitted he cried tears of joy at the time. He now wants to feel that support one more time and bid farewell properly.
The 31-year-old has revealed today that he will be in London next week to watch Arsenal take on West Ham United in the Premier League after Christmas.
“It will be our (he and his wife) chance to say goodbye to the players, the staff and the supporters properly.” he told The Athletic.

Xhaka will receive a lovely reception from Arsenal fans
Arsenal take on West Ham United on the 28th of December – almost exactly a year after the same fixture took place at the Emirates.
On that occasion, Arsene Wenger returned to Arsenal for the first time after leaving us. He received a fantastic reception from the home fans and we won 3-1 that day.
When Xhaka comes back next week, we’re convinced he will be at the end of a lot of love from Arsenal fans when he is shown on the big screen or is brought out on the pitch.
“Granit Xhaka we’ve got” will ring around the Emirates, and it will be a fantastic way to say goodbye to a player who gave us everything during his years at the club.
