So far at Arsenal this season, Jakub Kiwior has made just four appearances in the Premier League, yielding a total of 96 minutes.
Towards the end of November, Kiwior is yet to start a league game for Arsenal, despite doing so 11 times last season.
After the return to fitness of Jurrien Timber and the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Italy, Kiwior is something of a spare piece at the Emirates Stadium.
And to that end, Arsenal are willing to sell Kiwior in January – it’s understandable that the defender has lost confidence.
Unfortunately, Kiwior’s situation at Arsenal seems to be affecting his displays for his national team too, something fans pointed out after Poland’s shock 2-1 defeat to Scotland.
Jakub Kiwior told he needs to leave Arsenal as soon as possible
Kiwior was embarrassed by Liverpool’s Ben Doak, a display the Arsenal defender would rather forget.
That being said, Polish fans took to X to express their displeasure towards Kiwior’s display and the national team defence as a whole after Monday evening’s defeat.

One fan wrote: “[Jakub] Moder and Kiwior are hopeless at the moment.”
Another shared: “Kiwior plays bad and he was supposed to be a great defender.”
It was hard to move for “disappointing” Kiwior verdicts on the platform, who has failed to impress for his country for some time now.
Interestingly, Polish commentator Marcin Gazda called for Kiwior to leave Arsenal after his poor performance.
Speaking as a fan, he thought Kiwior was Poland’s best defender irrespective of recent displays, but he was worried about his situation.
He said: “I would really like Jakub Kiwior to change clubs in the winter. In my opinion, he is our best quality defender.
“It is nice to put on a shirt with the Arsenal emblem, it means a lot in football.
“However, minutes are very important for Kuba’s development, and at Arsenal he has little chance of playing regularly.”
Mikel Arteta has already told Jakub Kiwior what he needs to do at Arsenal
In respect of those comments, Kiwior is one one three Arsenal players who could leave in January.
Arsenal wouldn’t be prepared to lose three left-footed defenders in the same window, but there could be scope for Kiwior leaving alongside Kieran Tierney for example.
On his part, Arteta has already told Kiwior how to improve, but it remains to be seen whether he gets the chances to do so.
A difficult spot for the Arsenal defender, who has rarely been given a prolonged chance playing in his strongest role at the Emirates.
