Now well into November, Arsenal will have one eye firmly on the January transfer window – one they may use to remedy their recent poor form in the Premier League.
After Edu Gaspar’s sudden departure, some Arsenal supporters may be worried about the club’s ability to commit to deals either way after the turn of the year.
However, Edu leaving won’t have a significant impact in that respect – Arsenal will act as normal in January with their former sporting director’s responsibilities already shared elsewhere.
Arsenal have held talks with Tomas Rosicky over the vacant post according to reports, but won’t be in a rush to get a new face through the door.
Jakub Kiwior still keen to leave Arsenal in January
With a look at the January window itself, Arsenal Insider understands that there are three, or maybe even four players who could leave the club at the turn of the year.
It’s important to state that only one of or possibly two at max will leave the club – Arsenal aren’t about to oversee a January exodus, but there are some significant names on the list.

Firstly, Jakub Kiwior is still wanted by a few Serie A clubs, which is understandable given how he’s impressed in Italy with Spezia in the past.
AC Milan are still interested in signing Kiwior, and the player himself wants to leave Arsenal.
However, the club’s decision in January may hinge on the injury situation among Arteta’s defence at the time.
Kieran Tierney would love to join Brendan Rodgers at Celtic
Perhaps a less surprising inclusion is that of Kieran Tierney.
Were it not for his injury whilst playing for Scotland at the Euros this summer, Tierney would have probably already left Arsenal.

In terms of the future, Celtic would happily welcome Tierney home, who is also keen on a return to Celtic Park.
Tierney would love to be reunited with Brendan Rodgers, and Arsenal fans would surely be happy for the defender, who’s always given everything whilst wearing red.
The only issue would be Tierney’s big contract at Arsenal, one that Celtic could find hard to replicate.
But on his part, Tierney has been told he can look around for a new club in January.
Oleksandr Zinchenko would only leave if Jakub Kiwior stays at Arsenal
Arsenal Insider previously shared that Oleksandr Zinchenko could leave Arteta’s project in January.
But as explained before, Zinchenko and Kiwior are very unlikely to leave Arsenal in the same window – the Gunners would simply be too short on numbers.
Both could easily stay in north London until the summer when the club will have more time to plan the long-term look of their squad.
That being said, sources can’t rule out a mid-season departure for Jorginho, even if one currently seems unlikely.
Were a big offer to arrive from Saudi Arabia for Jorginho for example, Arsenal may listen.
Jorginho is out of contract in the summer, and Arsenal will take their time to decide whether to extend the Italian’s deal by another year.
