Arsenal transfer target Viktor Gyokeres may have played his final game for Sporting CP as he signed off in fine fashion.
The striker has continued to impress over his seasons in Portugal, firmly proving himself as a clinical goalscorer.
Amid links between Arsenal and a transfer for Gyokeres, the forward made one last telling contribution for Sporting CP before his potential exit.
Playing in the Portuguese Cup final, the striker did something that Mikel Arteta will love if he does join the Gunners.

Viktor Gyokeres scores key goal for Sporting CP in Portuguese Cup final
While Arsenal are eyeing a potential transfer for the striker this summer, Viktor Gyokeres still had a job to do with Sporting CP over the weekend.
Having already sealed the league title, attention turned towards the Portuguese Cup final, with Sporting taking on Benfica.
Orkun Kokcu gave Benfica a lead that appeared to be enough to win the match, before Gyokeres won a penalty in the 101st minute.
The Swedish international smashed the spot kick into the back of the net, taking the match to extra time, where goals from Conrad Harder and Francisco Trincao sealed victory for Sporting CP.
The goal for Gyokeres from the spot would be enough to impress Arteta in such a pressured environment, but the Portuguese media spotted something else he may love.
In their player ratings, A Bola gave the striker an eight out of ten rating and said: “He always attracts attention… What a forward!”
That attention may well create space for other players, should Gyokeres sign for Arsenal, opening up new possibilities in attack.
It remains to be seen if a move will go through, though, even with Gyokeres discussing the links to Arsenal after the match.

Whether that is enough to convince Arsenal or other Premier League clubs to make the move remains to be seen, though.
