Alan Shearer Premier League title prediction
Former Premier League striker Alan Shearer believes that Arsenal can go on and win the title this season. It comes as the Gunners reclaimed top of the table over the weekend, defeating Brighton, while results elsewhere went in their favour.
There’s still plenty of twists and turns ahead, but Shearer believes Mikel Arteta can get his side firing for the remainder of the campaign. Speaking on NBC Sports, he said: “Neat at the back, classy in midfield, deadly up-front, it was near perfection.
“There’s a story there for all of them. For Arsenal, 20 years on, what happened last year.”
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal can keep that up, with some tough away fixtures still ahead of them. The story of the season is likely to head to the wire though, given the form of the teams involved in the title race.

David Raya record
After some questions at the start of the season, David Raya has settled into becoming the number one choice as goalkeeper for Arsenal. The shotstopper has featured in five consecutive clean sheets away from home over the past few weeks.
Those include total shutouts against Brighton, Manchester City, West Ham, Burnley and Sheffield United on the road. That marks a new record for the Gunners, becoming the first goalkeeper in their history to do so.
Raya now has 12 clean sheets in the Premier League, with 25 appearances made since his loan switch from Brentford.

Kai Havertz praise
Arsenal stars have showered Kai Havertz with praise following the side’s huge 3-0 victory over Brighton. The forward has impressed since moving into the centre-forward role, grabbing another goal and assist to his tally for the campaign.
Taking to Instagram, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard were amongst those giving praise to Havertz for his display. Arsenal will be hopeful that the German international can continue that run of form to get a title push over the line.
Havertz now has nine goals and five assists in 30 Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season.
