Arsenal eye ambitious Rafael Leao transfer
With the January transfer window just around the corner, Arsenal are putting together plans to strengthen their forward line.
One of those players on the radar is AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, with Football Transfers claiming the Gunners have approached his agents.

It was claimed to be informal discussions, with the star currently rated at £150m-rated, though it’s unclear if a deal is open.
However, it is believed that a deal in January is unlikely, with a move more likely in the summer of 2025 instead.

Mikel Arteta gives Gabriel Magalhaes injury update
Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes was absent from the squad to face Manchester United on Wednesday night due to injury.
The defender had struggled with injury issues against Sporting CP and West Ham, having to be substituted early in both games.
With his absence coming as a blow, even despite the win, Mikel Arteta gave an update on the Brazilian’s condition.

Speaking on Amazon Prime Video, he said: “I don’t know, we have to wait and see in the next few days. It’s nothing too serious, but today was a bit risky to play him.”
There will be some hope that Gabriel will be able to feature for Arsenal over the weekend with a clash against Fulham on Sunday.

Arsenal target Wolves striker Matheus Cunha transfer
A striker on the radar for Arsenal heading into the January transfer window is Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
It comes as the Gunner are on the lookout for a new centre-forward, with several different options rumoured with a switch.
Arsenal Insider spoke to transfer expert Graeme Bailey about the links, who said: “Arsenal want at least one new forward in 2025, but likely two and Matheus Cunha is someone they have on their radar.”

“Cunha is someone who the Premier League’s top clubs always liked from his Atletico Madrid days.
“His form now has seen most of them take an interest in his form, and Arsenal are included, as well as Manchester United.”
