Just as it looked as though Arsenal’s injury list was easing up, Riccardo Calafiori has picked up a problem.
Arsenal are experiencing an injury crisis, with many first-team players currently unavailable to Mikel Arteta.
Still, the Gunners sit top of the Premier League and will be boosted by the players that are set to return after the international break, but fresh doubts have emerged.
On X, journalist Ryan Taylor reported that Riccardo Calafiori is training away from his Italy teammates due to an injury concern.
Just as Arsenal had stopped worrying about Calafiori’s injury record, the defender has been struck with a hip issue.
Taylor informed that Calafiori is now set to miss Italy’s clash against Moldova in their first match of the November international break.
The good news is that the Arsenal left-back is ‘prioritising recovery’, hoping to be available for the upcoming match against Norway.

Calafiori needs to be fit for Arsenal’s remaining November fixtures
The international break is a tough time for Arteta, who will anxiously await the safe return of his players, ready for domestic action to resume.
With Arsenal’s next Premier League fixtures increasing in difficulty, the last thing the manager will want to learn is an injury to one of his most influential players.

With Manchester City closing in on the Gunners, there’s no time for error when the Premier League resumes, giving Calafiori a further incentive to get fit.
For now, Arteta will wait patiently for some good news about his left-back, who has been so impressive this season.
