The third international break of the 2025/26 season is upon us, and several Arsenal players are set to travel to play for their nations.
Arsenal had 17 senior players on duty in the last break, which was in October, with Mikel Arteta’s high-flying squad becoming increasingly pivotal figures for their countries.
Having already had to deal with something of an injury crisis this season, the Spanish manager will be desperate for his players to return to North London unscathed.
However, with integral World Cup qualifiers to play, several Gunners stars will be engaged in crucial matches which they won’t be able to simply jog through.
With that said, here’s a look at the Arsenal players featuring on international duty this month.

England – Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Declan Rice
Myles Lewis-Skelly was left out of England’s squad, with Thomas Tuchel citing the teenager’s lack of minutes for his omission.
Eberechi Eze did make the German’s ensemble despite his poor form, while Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka were also included.
England have already qualified for the World Cup, so Arteta will hope his Three Lions aren’t overly exerted this break.

Spain – Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi, David Raya
Mikel Merino has been in fine form for Spain over the last few international breaks, playing alongside Martin Zubimendi and Barcelona’s Pedri in the Euro 2024 winners’ midfield.
Spain are on the brink of qualifying for next summer’s tournament in North America, and David Raya will subsequently hope to be granted an opportunity to show why he should be selected over Unai Simon in between the sticks.
- 15/11/2025 – Georgia vs Spain
- 18/11/2025 – Spain vs Turkey

Netherlands – Jurrien Timber
Jurrien Timber is yet to establish himself as a starter for the Netherlands, despite his form for Arsenal.
Ronald Koeman has experimented with Timber as a centre-back alongside Virgil van Dijk, and it’s possible this is where his role could be for his national team, given Denzel Dumfries appears to be the favoured right-back.
- 14/11/2025 – Poland vs Netherlands
- 17/11/2025 – Netherlands vs Lithuania

France – William Saliba
William Saliba is a mainstay in the French national team nowadays.
The centre-back will hope to secure qualification for Les Blues, who need four points from games against Ukraine and Azerbaijan to guarantee their place at next summer’s tournament.

- 16/11/2025 – Azerbaijan vs France

Brazil – Gabriel Magalhaes
Arteta will be glad to hear that Brazil aren’t leaving Europe during this international break.
The CONMEBOL qualification campaign has already been wrapped up, and thus, the South American nation are playing friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia in London and Lille respectively
The Senegal game actually takes place at the Emirates on Saturday. Gabriel Martinelli misses out due to injury, while Gabriel Magalhaes will feature for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

- 18/11/2025 – Brazil vs Tunisia

Italy – Riccardo Calafiori
Trailing group leaders Norway by three points, Italy have two enormous games that will determine whether they qualify automatically or go through the play-offs.
Riccardo Calafiori will be a key part of the Italian team for these crunch matches.
- 13/11/2025 – Moldova vs Italy
- 16/11/2025 – Italy vs Norway

Ecuador – Piero Hincapie
Ecuador will travel to North America over this international break, playing friendlies against Canada and New Zealand.
Piero Hincapie missed his country’s last set of fixtures due to injury, but he returns to the fold this time around.

- 18/11/2024 – Ecuador vs New Zealand

Denmark – Christian Norgaard
Despite playing a peripheral role for Arsenal this season, Christian Norgaard has been included in Denmark’s squad for two pivotal World Cup qualifiers.
The defensive midfielder is currently playing second-fiddle to former Tottenham man Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, but will hope to stake a claim to usurp the Marseille star.
- 15/11/2025 – Denmark vs Belarus
- 18/11/2025 – Scotland vs Denmark

Belgium – Leandro Trossard
Leandro Trossard has been in impressive form for Arsenal recently, and he’ll hope to carry this into the international break, with Belgium still in pursuit of a World Cup spot.
- 15/11/2025 – Kazakhstan vs Belgium
- 18/11/2025 – Belgium vs Liechtenstein

Spain U21 – Cristhian Mosquera
Cristhian Mosquera is yet to be handed a first call-up to the senior Spanish squad, with the likes of Dean Huijsen and Pau Cubarsi ahead of him in the pecking order.
However, the youngster is the captain of Spain’s under-21s side, and will lead them out for Euro 2027 qualifiers against San Marino and Romania.

- 14/11/2025 – England U21 vs Ireland U21
- 18/11/2025 – Slovakia U21 vs England U21

England U19 – Max Dowman
Max Dowman has been outstanding for England’s under-19s in recent international breaks, and he continues to be selected at this level, despite arguably being good enough for the under-21s.
- 12/11/2025 – Lithuania U19 vs England U19
- 15/11/2025 – England U19 vs Latvia U19
- 18/11/2025 – England U19 vs Scotland U19
