Rio Ferdinand has now shared a rather surprising opinion on Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka following the weekend’s football.
Ferdinand was speaking on FIVE via YouTube, and aired his belief that Saka is now trumped by one winger at Manchester City.

The pundit declared that Jeremy Doku was now much more exciting to watch, even if he did think Saka was top level.
And Ferdinand did think that Saka has been slightly quiet at Arsenal so far this season.
He said: “Form-wise, you have to go Doku. He is opening teams up. That’s the quietest I’ve seen Saka this season against Brentford.
“But the two moments in the game, big moments, one was a goal and one was the disallowed goal for VAR came from Saka.
“He’s not having to beat people even now, he’s just opening up, give him a bit too much space, he’s just putting the ball on a six-pence for people. Saka is top level.
“But Doku, I’m paying to watch Doku over any other winger in the league right now.
“Aaron Lennon, we had him on the show the other day, he said, ‘That’s all I want. Get the ball, face the defender.’
“This is what this geezer is doing. He smoked Trent [Alexander-Arnold] the other day.”
Rio Ferdinand thinks Jeremy Doku is now ahead of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka
Of course, it is quite surprising that Ferdinand has labelled Saka’s start to the season as ‘quiet’.
There’s much more to his game than assists and goals under Mikel Arteta, but even then he does have six goals and nine assists in 18 games.

And when you consider that Saka is now often having to contend with defenders doubling up against him, they’re impressive numbers.
Saka is still Arsenal’s most creative outlet – a player Pep Guardiola would have surely rather signed over Doku this summer.
It’s no slight on the Belgian – we’re comparing two of the world’s best, but Ferdinand is understating Saka’s performances at Arsenal.
Although Man City do boast the stronger squad, many may believe that both Saka and Gabriel Martinelli would be starters for City.
A tantalising prospect either side of Erling Haaland.
And that goes some way to explaining why Arsenal should now sign their own £120m striker.
