Rio Ferdinand is worried about Bukayo Saka’s injury struggles
Rio Ferdinand does not believe that Bukayo Saka’s injury struggles get talked about enough and is worried about whether he can play himself back into form.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents, he said: “I’d like to think he’s playing his way out of injury. He has a big injury, you know? I think that doesn’t get documented and talked about enough.
“He had a massive injury that isn’t talked about much, the seriousness of what he had. I’d like to think he’s playing his way back into form, and hopefully we see that in an England shirt.”
The 24-year-old had three separate injuries last season, and his Achilles injury from March still seems to be causing him some issues.
