Rodri has warned Arsenal that finishing the season as the team leading the Premier League can be tough, and every opponent becomes a big challenge.
Manchester City completed the domestic cup double on Saturday and will now be hoping to catch Arsenal in the final two games of the season.
👀 Fill in the blank: Arsenal are taking _ points from the final two Premier League matches…
The Gunners head into the final two matches top of the Premier League table by two points, with games against Burnley and Crystal Palace remaining.
Ahead of the final two matches, Rodri has issued a strong warning to their title rivals about the difficulty finishing the job.
Rodri warns Arsenal about getting the Premier League title over the line
Rodri claims that Man City will be ready to pounce on any dropped points by Arsenal in the final two Premier League matches.
Mikel Arteta’s team host Burnley on Monday at the Emirates Stadium; meanwhile, City go away to Bournemouth on the following evening.
Speaking after City’s FA Cup win, Rodri told Hayters TV: “Yeah, confidence boost, but we don’t lose our confidence, don’t lose our calm. We still have two games to play.
“They’re massive, and they’re very, very tough and very long. So, everything can happen. We just need them to drop points.
“It can happen in the next one or in the last game. If I were in their position, it’s not easy to finish the task, and we have to be there pushing until the end.”
Burnley and Palace should be two straightforward games for Arsenal; however, City nearly threw away the title back in the 2023/34 season by losing to Aston Villa on the final day.

So Rodri is fully aware that anything can happen, and he is hopeful that the North London club will, in fact, still drop points.
“I mean, from our experience, we were losing the title against Aston Villa at home in the 80th minute. So everything can happen in football,” added the former Ballon d’Or winner.
“We know how difficult it is to close the season in that position, and we know how difficult it is to beat every opponent in the Premier League.”
Arsenal face a Burnley team that has already been relegated, before going away to a Palace team that could heavily rotate ahead of their Europa Conference League final.
