Arsenal will take a break away from thinking about the Champions League to return to Premier League action.
The last thought on Arsenal fans’ minds is the upcoming clash against Brentford at the Emirates.
It was only two days ago that N5 saw the Emirates’ best-ever night unfold, as Arsenal beat Real Madrid 3-0.
For now, thoughts of the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu will be put on pause, with 90 minutes against Brentford to combat in search of three points.

Ian Wright and Roy Keane agree on Arsenal vs Brentford prediction
The Premier League title race is all but over as Liverpool sit 11 points above the Gunners.
For that reason, focus remains firmly on what the Champions League can produce, leaving Mikel Arteta with a decision to make against the Bees on Saturday.
A heavily-rotated squad will be expected when Thomas Frank’s side visit North London, with many turning a blind eye to what the result could be.
Despite all attention being on the upcoming trip to Madrid, Arsenal legend Ian Wright remains confident that the Gunners will do enough to secure a win against Brentford.
Wright was prompted to predict the scoreline when speaking on The Overlap’s Stick to Football podcast, agreeing with Roy Keane on the matter.
“They’ll [Arsenal] still beat them though, won’t they? 2-1?” Keane asked Wright.
“Yeah, let’s go 2-1,” the Arsenal icon replied, but the duo’s score prediction was snubbed by others involved.
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher focused on the expected rotation in the starting XI, having a more pessimistic view of the contest.
“Carra, Arsenal Brentford, Arsenal could rest quite a few players, couldn’t they?” Neville asked Carragher, who was on the phone.
“Yeah, that’s a 1-1 that,” the Liverpool legend responded, to which Neville said, “Yeah, I agree, 1-1.”
Arsenal’s last five results against Brentford
Though Carragher and Neville expect Arsenal to draw their 12th game of the Premier League season against Brentford, history is certainly on the Gunners’ side.
| Date | Score | Result | Competition |
| 01/01/25 | 3-1 | W | Premier League |
| 09/03/24 | 2-1 | W | Premier League |
| 25/11/23 | 1-0 | W | Premier League |
| 27/09/23 | 1-0 | W | Carabao Cup |
| 11/02/23 | 1-1 | D | Premier League |
In the previous five meetings between the two clubs, Arsenal have secured four wins and a draw, remaining unbeaten against Frank’s side since 2021.
Arsenal’s last duel with the Bees was on New Year’s Day, when the Gunners won 3-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium, with Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino scoring.
With Jesus injured and Martinelli and Merino to be needed in Madrid, it will be fascinating to envisage where the goals could come from in this edition of Arsenal versus Brentford.
