Samir Nasri will be watching on with interest when Arsenal take on PSG at the end of the month and he believes it wasn’t all that amazing from the French side against Bayern.

PSG got over the line in a tense second leg and will now battle the Gunners as they seek to win a second consecutive Champions League title.

Over the two legs, PSG’s brilliant attacking play was highlighted but in the end, it was the defensive prowess that kept Bayern out and saw them through.

However, while Nasri was impressed, he’s also suggested not everything is perfect.

Samir Nasri suggests PSG aren’t perfect after seeing them v Bayern Munich

Speaking to Canal Sport after the game concluded, Nasri spoke highly of the French side but admitted he’d seen what he labelled ‘technical inaccuracies’ from the team.

“I think this PSG team is terrifying because they’re capable of suffering and defending well, and for me that’s a real lesson.

“I’ve always seen them as ultra-dominant, but I noticed a lot of technical inaccuracies from both sides.

“It’s historic because PSG are reaching a second consecutive final, and very few clubs can boast that. But I don’t share your opinion that it was a great match.”

Arsenal will have to produce the defensive performance of their lives

Arsenal are well known around Europe this season for their brilliant defence.

They have conceded just six goals in the Champions League all season and kept seven clean sheets in a quite remarkable campaign.

In the Premier League, they’ve kept 17 clean sheets, conceding just 26 times as David Raya has got his hands on another golden glove.

However, PSG presents a threat that Arsenal have not yet had to face. Their constant pressing and the ability of the likes of Doue, Kvaratskhelia and Dembele is on another level and Arsenal will do well to keep them out.

It is possible, and if any team can do it it’s Arsenal. But it’s going to need the performance of a lifetime from this back four.
